European University Institute and contract professor in IP and competition law at the University of Florence. My legal expertise ranges from the intersections between innovation, antitrust law and intellectual property rights to data governance and digital market regulation.<\/p><p>Previously, I worked for the technology transfer offices of the University of Florence and the Tuscan Region. Between 2017-2020, I participated as a Marie Sk\u0142odowska-Curie researcher in the joint European doctorate EIPIN \u2013 Innovation Society at Max-Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition in Munich.<\/p><p>In 2023, under the supervision of Prof. Josef Drexl, I defended my PhD thesis titled \u201cPatent Aggregation, Innovation and EU Competition Law\u201d before the universities of Augsburg and Maastricht jointly, obtaining the highest academic distinctions. In 2018, I received a second-level master\u2019s degree in \u201cInternet Ecosystem\u201d from the University of Pisa, with a first-class dissertation on credit data in the EU, taking advantage of a research grant at the Bank of Italy.
